Iran to host 1st Vietnam cultural week

The 1st Vietnam Cultural Week is set to begin in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

The event is scheduled to inaugurate on Saturday December 24 and the opening ceremony will be held at Tehran’s City Theater.

The Vietnamese president will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony.

The week-long event comprises various cultural and artistic activities.

It will also be hosted by Tehran’s Niavaran Complex as well as venues in the cities of Shiraz, Isfahan, Kashan and the Persian Gulf Island of Kish.

The event was organized after Iranian president Hassan Rouhani visited Vietnam earlier this year.
